MICHI may collect your email address and information you enter into its planning tools, including lifestyle preferences, saved roads, saved items and optional financial inputs. MICHI may also receive information you provide through story, event, listing, partnership or contact submissions.
How we use information
We use information to operate MICHI, provide account and saving features, remember your choices, respond to enquiries, review submissions, manage provider accounts and optional promotions, improve the site and understand how people use it. Provider marketing and promotional updates are optional and can be declined.
Service providers and payments
MICHI uses third-party services to operate the site, including Vercel for hosting, Supabase for account and database infrastructure, Resend for transactional email and, if online checkout is enabled, Stripe for payment processing. Payment details are entered on a Stripe-hosted checkout page and are not stored by MICHI.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
MICHI stores essential preferences in your browser, including saved items and planning choices. MICHI uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is found and used, including pages visited, general device and browser information, approximate location, referrals and interactions such as site searches. Search terms may be included in page URLs and analytics reports. MICHI may also use Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers or similar technologies for measurement and to serve or personalise ads, depending on your consent and location.
